IFA Berlin 2026 is behind us: GSM trends that we convert into sales

IFA Berlin 2026 is behind us. Now that the excitement after several intense days of the fair has somewhat subsided, we can look at this year’s edition not only through the lens of premieres and products presented at the stand, but above all, through discussions with partners, customer questions, and directions that will be significant for sales in the coming months.

We thank everyone who visited the Partner Tele.com stand in Hall 4.2 / Stand 117. This year’s IFA was special for us – for the third time we participated in one of the most important events in the consumer electronics industry, and at the same time, we are celebrating Partner Tele.com’s 25th anniversary.

Even before our trip to Berlin, we pointed to AI, wearable devices, the development of new charging standards, and the preparation of an offer for the iPhone 18 premiere as some of the directions that would be particularly important during this year’s fair. Discussions during the IFA Berlin trade fair confirmed these predictions, but also showed something more: sellers are increasingly looking not only for new products, but also for ways to differentiate their own offer, increase basket value, and build brand recognition.

IFA Berlin 2026 – from the latest technologies to specific market needs

For years, IFA has been a place to see the latest innovations and technologies that gradually make their way into everyday use. This year, the further development of AI, wearable devices, solutions in the area of Smart Home mobility, and new ways of communication between devices was particularly visible.

From Partner Tele.com’s perspective, however, it is equally important how these trends translate into the real needs of shops, e-commerce, and distributors.

Classic GSM accessories still remain the foundation of the market, but today they increasingly operate within a broader ecosystem. Alongside cases, screen protectors, cables, and chargers, the importance of wearables, AI devices, smart home, premium products, and services allowing customers to create their own, more unique offer is growing.

And these were precisely the areas most frequently discussed in our conversations in Berlin.

Titmo Technology on your wrist

AI Glasses TITMO G-200 – the most frequently asked about technology

One of the products generating the most interest at our stand was AI TITMO G-200 glasses.

Even before IFA, we pointed to smart glasses as an example of a category that is no longer just a technological curiosity, but is increasingly entering the consumer electronics market. In Berlin, we could see this interest directly.

Visitors primarily asked about how AI glasses work in practice, what recording looks like, audio function support, the use of artificial intelligence, and the device’s cooperation with the application. The product also attracted the attention of media representatives, which shows that the AI wearables category has potential beyond the group of the most technologically advanced users.

For us, it is particularly important to develop TITMO as a complete ecosystem. Smartwatches, AI glasses, and other wearable devices are not designed as isolated products. They are connected by the TITMO application and a common approach to the personal device category.

It is precisely this transition from a single product to a coherent ecosystem that is one of the directions we want to further develop.

Smart band – a simpler alternative also addresses market needs

Interest was also drawn to the TITMO smart band. In this case, discussions with partners showed that the wearables market should not be treated as a single, uniform category.

Not every user needs an advanced smartwatch. For some customers, a smart band can be the first device for monitoring activity, a simpler solution for daily use, or a way to check if wearable functions will actually be utilized.

It can also be an attractive solution for users who primarily expect basic functions in a more discreet form and at a lower price point.

From a seller’s perspective, this means the possibility of building the wearables category at several price and functional levels. A smart band does not have to compete with a smartwatch – it can complement the offering and reach a different target audience.

iPhone 18 – interest in accessories begins before the launch

One of the strongest topics at this year’s IFA was also the new generation of Apple devices. The collection of Forcell accessories prepared for iPhone 18 attracted considerable interest from visitors.

This confirmed something we wrote about even before our trip to Berlin: in the case of the most important smartphone launches, preparing the offer cannot start only on the day the device goes on sale.

Partners emphasized the possibility of securing stock and preparing a portfolio in advance of increased demand. Cases, protective glass and films, MagSafe solutions, chargers, cables, power banks, or holders are products that customers often look for already when purchasing a new phone.

It is precisely around one launch that an entire set of additional products can be built.

Cross-selling is also of great importance here. Color-coordinated sets consisting of a case, power bank, charger, and cable not only allow for a better presentation of the offer but also increase the average basket value both in brick-and-mortar stores and in e-commerce.

Fast charging still in focus

Charging remains one of the most important categories in the GSM accessories market, but the way customers view this category is clearly changing.

During IFA, significant attention was given to compact mains chargers, high-power power banks, and solutions utilizing GaN technology and the Qi2 standard. These are two directions we had already indicated before the fair as particularly important for the development of modern mobile accessories.

Today, however, it’s not just the number of watts that counts. Increasingly important are also the device size, the number of supported devices, form, materials, and design.

A good example is Forcell Crystal AVS products, where we combine technical parameters with a more refined design and new color variants. This is also important from an exhibition perspective – a charger or power bank is increasingly ceasing to be merely a technical accessory and is becoming an element of a cohesive set of GSM accessories.

Smart home – a natural extension of the GSM market

Another direction that attracted visitors’ attention was smart home.

At Blue Star, we presented, among other things, cameras and a projector. This shows a broader change occurring in the industry: the traditional GSM market is increasingly merging with other areas of consumer electronics.

A customer buying a smartphone, power bank, or smartwatch is very often also a potential recipient of a camera, multimedia device, or other products from the category of smart home.

For stores and e-commerce, this means the opportunity to expand their portfolio without completely moving beyond their existing customer base. IoT devices, smart home, and mobile electronics are starting to create a common ecosystem, in which the phone acts as one of the most important control and communication points.

Private label – own brand as a way to differentiate the offering

One of the most frequently discussed topics during B2B conversations was also private label.

In practice, this means the ability to sell products under the client’s own brand, instead of exclusively offering products that appear on the market under the same brand from multiple sellers.

For our partners, this can be a way to build recognition, gain greater control over the portfolio, and create a product line tailored to a specific market or sales channel.

At Partner Tele.com, we do not limit ourselves solely to the product itself. As part of our cooperation, we can also support partners in preparing personalized packaging and marketing materials. Depending on the project, these may include posters, stands, catalogs, flyers, or other materials supporting display and sales.

Thanks to this, private label can encompass not only one’s own logo on the product but also broader, consistent brand communication in stores and e-commerce.

This is one of the areas where Partner Tele.com’s experience in building brands such as Forcell, Blue Star, or TITMO can also be applied to solutions created for our partners.

Case personalization – a ready-made model for additional sales

Private label addresses the need for building one’s own brand. Case personalization, on the other hand, addresses another need: the ability to offer the customer a product created specifically for them.

The topic of sublimation once again garnered significant interest during IFA. Forcell X9 allows creating cases with full 3D printing covering the back, sides, and the camera island area. According to product materials, a ready case can be prepared in about 10–20 minutes, and the process itself does not require specialized knowledge.

One of the biggest advantages of this solution, however, is not the machine itself, but the ability to create a complete workstation for starting production.

Our offer includes, among others, the Forcell X9 machine, suitable molds, cases designed for sublimation, sublimation paper, inks, and the recommended Epson L8050 printer. The print preparation process can also be supported by a mobile application. Forcell materials also indicate very good color reproduction and print resistance to abrasion and fading.

An important advantage of the technology is also the printing method. The dye penetrates deeper into the surface than with some other solutions available on the market, making the print more durable. At the same time, the high quality of the base cases ensures that a good visual effect goes hand in hand with the quality of the product itself.

In practice, this translates into vibrant colors, good sharpness, contrast, and a high level of color reproduction. This is particularly important for photos, graphics with a large number of details, or designs where the color scheme is a key element of the pattern.

How does sublimation work and why is it a great business idea?

Not just the device – after-sales support is also important

For a sublimation solution, what happens after purchasing the device is also very important.

That is why we provide after-sales and technical support at subsequent stages of working with the system – from assistance with device configuration to tips on preparing and executing the sublimation process.

This is especially important for customers who are just starting to sell personalized products. They do not have to independently complete the entire solution, select materials, and determine the method of work through trial and error.

They receive a complete system, appropriate materials, and technical support, which allows them to start production faster and focus on sales.

For this reason, we treat sublimation not just as another device in our portfolio, but as a ready-made solution allowing a store or e-commerce business to launch a new service and an additional source of income.

Private label, sublimation and plotter – common direction

Although these are different solutions, they are connected by one very clear trend: sellers are increasingly looking for a way to distinguish their offer instead of competing solely on price.

Private label allows you to build your own product brand. Sublimation enables the creation of cases tailored to individual customers. A plotter opens up further possibilities for personalization and preparing products to order.

This shift from mere distribution to creating added value was one of the most interesting conclusions from this year’s discussions at IFA.

Co z IFA Berlin 2026 warto przełożyć na sprzedaż

What from IFA Berlin 2026 is worth applying to sales?

This year’s fair highlighted several directions worth considering when planning your offer for the coming months:

  • AI and wearables are no longer niche curiosities and are creating new product categories – from AI glasses to smart bands.
  • The iPhone 18 launch means the need to secure stock of cases, screen protectors, chargers, power banks, and MagSafe solutions in advance.
  • GaN and Qi2 remain important technologies in the charging category, but design and the ability to create consistent sets are also playing an increasingly significant role.
  • Smart home can be a natural extension of the classic GSM offer and a way to reach existing customers with additional electronics categories.
  • Private label, personalization, and cross-selling allow not only to sell more, but most importantly, to build an offer that is more difficult to directly compare with the competition.

Additionally, an important sales period is ahead, including the launch of new Apple devices, Black Friday, and the pre-holiday season. This is a good time to analyze your portfolio, secure the availability of key products, and plan stock for Q4.

IFA is primarily about discussions

Products and technologies are an important part of trade fairs, but for Partner Tele.com, IFA remains primarily a meeting place.

Conversations with current partners, new clients, representatives from various markets, and the media allow us to better assess which technologies have real sales potential and what the industry will need in the coming months.

In the year of Partner Tele.com’s 25th anniversary, this is particularly significant for us. Over a quarter of a century, the mobile accessories market has changed many times – and continues to change. Our task is not just to observe these changes, but to translate them into specific products, brands, and solutions that enable our partners to grow sales.

We develop our own brands Forcell, Blue Star and TITMO, introduce new categories, invest in personalization, and simultaneously support clients who want to build their own brands using the private label model.

It is precisely this combination of experience, market observation, and active offer development that we intend to continue leveraging in the upcoming seasons.
